Torso inserts feature three intercostal spaces and facilitate needle decompression of pneumothorax in the 5th intercostal space, with audible hiss heard when performed correctly. Torso inserts also facilitate chest drain of a haemothorax in the 6th and 7th intercostal spaces. Durable silicone simulates skin texture and allows trainees to palpate and distinguish between ribs and intercostal spaces. Sold in sets of 2.
